Boated another Muskie

[ESOX2009]

My son and I went out on Barren River today and landed another muskie. This one was a 40 inch male and he pulled our 12 foot john boat around some before we netted and released it.

Nice one, I have seen several while floating the river past 101 bridge, had a friend that feed one a pop r at the boat one time, it was over 40 in also saw one with a carp in its mouth just swimming along, have never laned one on the river but have lost some good plugs to some. Again congrats.

Yeah...they are below the dam. Lots of them around the Beach Bend area.

I gaurantee that big bruiser pulled your all's 12 footer around for awhile...nice catch!

I remember the first and only Musky I ever tangled with. Bass fishin' at Green River Lake and caught it by accident. For the first few seconds I thought I had the bottom of the lake or thought I hung into a log or something, thought I was snagged...and then whatever was on the other end of my line started doin' as it pleased....finally got it in the boat, it was a couple of inches shy of being a keeper, but using regular old bass fishin' equipment it fought like the dicken's.
