Wish I could do more but basically a person can only donate a day of pay so many times a year. Also, when we donate a trip, in most cases we are also out the trip expenses unless the person that wins the trip offers a good tip at the end of the trip..this only happens about half the time.
I wonder how many of the folks that are asking us guides to donate a trip are donating a day of their pay or more to the cause...not many I suspect. We guides do not get paid vacations...a day donated is a day's pay lost and as mentioned above probably more because of expenses incurred.
FFK is a great cause...and if you can afford to donate a trip, then go for it....I am buying some tickets myself and have already told Eddie that if I win then FFK can keep the money I won.
