I have a 2002 150 Optimax that was making a warning noise that indicated that the oil pressure was low 4 Beeps every two seconds which the manual indicated this problem. Upon taking off the cover I found a oil leaking from the plastic resivior at the top upon inspection the threads were stripped out on the plast so we put some thread tape and solved the oil leak and those buzzing indicators went off after that repair. No there is buzzer going off when I try to get up on plane solid buzzer for about 8 to 10 seconds. Does anyone have any idea that this could be indicating????

Had a guy in the club that had that problem. Said it was the rev limiter???? I think. Something about those motors are not supposed to be reved up due to it doing something to the computer and it sends warning to the buzzer.
Engines are too expensive to be taking chances with. I had a friend that kept messing around with a warning buzzer on his engine, and it blew up on him.
Had the same problem with the alarm when trying to plane out. I topped off the oil reservoir and it has not alarmed since.
