    What amp fuse

Installing 2 Moonlite jacks, but have 2 different brands of led blacklight. One reccomends a 2 amp fuse. What does Moonlite reccomend or what amperage would you guys that have led blacklights use ??? Thanks

    a. [email protected] . I'd check what model numbers I have, and contact these guys, and have them give you the recommended amp fuse to use.

    b. If the 2 lights have different recommended fuse requirements, I'd use one electrical circuit with the recommended fuse for one set of lights, and a second seperate circuit with its own fuse for that second model of lights. Attempting to put all on one circuit, and either average loads or plan for peak loads can mean you are either have 2 high an amp fuse (means it won't pop when a prblem occurs and risks fire) or too small a fuse and constantly have the lights shut down when one set of lights draws more than the other and blows the fuse.

I don't use black lights, but had 55w bow lights, and underdeck lighting of 2 types all located at the bow of my old boat. I ran 2 seperate circuits, each with their own fuze and had no problems at all.
