They start dropping the Louisville District lakes either on October 1st or October 15th. Go the the link below and you can check each lake:

Click on the blue numbers under TODAYS POOL and you will get the yearly schedule. Rought is October 1st.

They actually start a slow draw down September 15 through October 15th of around 5 feet. Then they pull the plug.
