I know its been a long HOT summer and you must be real anxious, but i think you are rushing things a bit. The water is still in the high 70s or low 80s and needs about another month of cool weather to get what you are looking for.

Cave Run is high 70's and this past weekend myself and several buddies of mine threw Buzzbaits, Sammy's, pop-Rs, and frogs and we threw them alot hoping for what your looking for, and we didn't even get a sniff...the water just ain't quite cool enough....YET! It will be though give it a couple more weeks worth of cooler nights and another cold front or two will take care of that!
walkie-fly-guy:
Try Nolin, mouth of Dog Creek, and mouth of Connoloway Creeks. Large mouth and KY/Spots in the jumps last week.
