Thanks JCB, yes, I have been fortunate in many ways. I have been a voracious reader from an early age. I didn’t go to college so you would be surprised at the “boring” books that I have read voluntarily. That is especially so with books, magazines, newspapers, etc. that provide (provided) opinions and/or information contrary to popular beliefs. I learned early on that I can gain a better insight into what I do believe, think or understand by reading things contrary to what I believe, think or understand. I think that one can often gain more from those that disagree with us, than from those that agree with us. Sometimes, I even lay verbal traps to get an opposing view from others, and I don’t mean just on Fishin.com. Also contrary to what APB may think, I don’t lock threads because someone disagrees with me, I only lock them when someone becomes disagreeable.
