Congrats for sure to this man and his selfless act.
As far as Obamy presenting this award well I'm gonna be non-politically correct and say since I cannot stand this POTUS and his policies or his Administration. It just smells like a political move to me maybe I'm wrong but noone knows for sure and in politics its all about opinions and thats mine!

Its nice that someone that brave actually made it home. So many have sacrificed and it is nice that he can actually recieve his medal and wear it proudly. He is teh first one to recieve the MOH and it not be posthumous in the entire afghan/iraq campaign.

I join you in your salute to this Medal of Honor recipient and I know you will join me in saluting everyone who has served the great USA. You never know how you would react in the same situation but I think every one hopes he would react in the same manner as this gentleman.---- The difference there is no question about him. SALUTE!!!

Ditto from me. The Medal Of Honor is the highest honor a fighting man can recieve. Just mentioning Barry in the same sentence sickens me somehow. Have you ever noticed that half ass salute he gives when he gets off the Air force one or the helicopter with his George Jefferson walk. I know some service people and they can't stand the guy, they think he's a joke.

Wow what a hero this young soldier is. He did amazing things out on the battlefield and was there for his men. I am so impressed he lived to be able to be awarded this medal. What an honour. Job very done!

    Congrats to the NCO!

Now, lets fires his entire chain of command. His acts were in 2007, this is 2010. I think it is simply outrageous for a young man that did this heroic deed to wait 3 years to be commended for the bravery. It speaks poorly for us when we wait this long to do what is right.

If we reacted this slowly to "bad things" soldiers sometimes do, then that wacked out Major at Fort Hood would still be standing in the corner waiting for someone to find a bullet!

Good deeds need be rewarded as fast or FASTER than misconduct.

Again, hats off to the NCO for what he did!

    Re: Medal Of Honor

Yes I agree, fire his Chain of Command for not keeping ths ball rolling on this outstanding award. But then again President Bush should have been the correct person to have awarded this medal to this soldier ( Not Obama I was a Community Organizer )....
