    which lake?

Going out wed morning to do some fishing with walkeraviator. Plan on being on the lake at day break and stayin till we've had all we can stand. Tossing around the usual lakes, barren is kind of tops on the list simply because of his experience there. Lookin for suggestions and various lake conditions at all the lakes, barren rough, nolin, green. Just want to get the most out of the day as my work schedule doesn't afford me a lot of oppurtunity to get on the water. Thanks guys.

All good choices, but I have heard the topwater bite was turning on at Nolin, might be something to take into consideration.

I've been on Nolin twice the past three weeks. We couldn't find much they weren't biting on. The buzz bait bite has been fun, but still the smaller fish. We caught our bigger fish on slug-gos and spoons.

The buzz bite is definitely picking up at Nolin, however the keepers are still hard to come by. I think Barren would give you all the best chance at some bigger fish IMO. Wherever you guys go, I'm sure it will be better than a day at work!
