Mallard Point Lake, Georgetown/Scott County

Hi guys,

We are considering a trip to Mallard Point Lake in Scott County. I researched the area via Google Maps and see that it is surrounded by housing. I have two questions:

1) Is the lake private for the neighbourhood only?
and
2) If not and anyone can fish there, where is the best place to park and approach the lake from?

the answer to your first is YES, in order to fish someone that lives in Mallard Point has to be in the boat, I don't know the answer to the parking thing.
