Let me get this straight.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan that we are forced to purchase and will be fined if we don't buy it, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it (but exempts themselves from it), signed by a president who smokes cigarettes, paid for by funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by an obese surgeon general, financed by a country that's going broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

I am still totally surprised that if the committee chairman doesnt understand it and Congress hasnt read it then how can it be passed and signed by Obama? That doesnt make sense to me. Sounds like you have alot of "Yes" men and women who just want to please Obama.

There's a lot going on in our country today that I find to be unbelievable...if by some pathetic small chance Nobama does get re-elected for another term there won't be any more worries cause we'll ALL be working for the government...at least it sure seems this way to me anyway.

Not really up on the full Political scene of Gubment. But when the next POTUS takes over can he / she resend the NOBama Healthcare Reform Bill and do away with it? Since so many people are against it in the first place

The President, by him/herself, cannot overturn any legislation already enacted. The Congress (House and Senate) would have to pass another law to stop Obamacare and that law would have to be signed by the President. It is going to be extremely difficult to overturn it and more than likely will require the Republicans to have a majority in both the House and the Senate and have a Replublican President to sign it. Without a majority in both houses, it is unlikely that enough Democrats will jump ship and join a Replublican move to overturn it UNLESS enough Democrats see the hand writing on the wall and start listening to the majority of people. This coming election will be very inteesting.

I think so but it would take an act of Congress wouldn't it? (pun intended)If it's been passed into law by our wonderful sitting Congress all the Potus can do is ask for it to be removed as law.....I'm really asking more than anything.
But like any gubment program who would actually do take away something that was passed and had alot of money set aside for it with the plans of generating billions more in taxes later....it's here to stay.

Don, I think you and I were writing at the same time, but yes it would require and Act of Congress to repeal it. As to the funding/taxes that is what the Repuplicans are aiming at if they get control of both House and Senate in November, by that I mean they want to take away the funding. The trouble is, unless they get veto proof majorities, Obama will never sign anything they come up with. Again, a lot is going to depend on how many Democrats see the hand writing on the wall and vote against Obama.

Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 (presumably after obama’s re-election). You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one. If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to harm the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Is this Hope & Change great or what? Does this stuff make your November and 2012 votes more important?
Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either (result of clandestine midnight voting for huge bills they've never read). AND, there are a few other surprises lurking.
