I've read 15-25lb test, depending on how tough the cover is. Is mono, braid, or flouro better (braid seems right for heavy cover, but I have trouble seeing braid)? Also, heavy rods would hoist a hawg out faster, but wouldn't it be more likely to break than a rod with more give? Last, if I'll be throwing up into thick blowdowns, is it important to use a TX-rigged worm with the tip buried (to be as weedless as possible)? How many more snags will I get if I tie on a jig & trailer?
