I was a full cork kind of guy.Do you guys prefer a solid cork grip on your casting rods or a split cork? Or do you all prefer the foam grips and if so, solid or split? Also, why do you prefer your pick to the others. I'm just curious as to what everyone else likes. I myself prefer the split foam grips. It feels more comfortable to me. And, they look sweet!
Now, I use cumara's with the split foam..........and FOAM is a lot easier on my hands..........

I have a few of each. For bottom bouncing stuff (jigs, t-rig and c-rig) I really like the split handle. I like the foam, but I like the cork too - they both have advantages. The cork transmits vibrations a little easier, the foam is better when wet, and softer on the hands.
I like a full cork for some things too - especially tossing out deep crankbaits - it just feels more comfrotable with the cork fighting the constant pull of the crankbait.
I just wish they would soften up the very end of the rod - I get bruises on side of my chest on days where I catch several.
I've tried the split grip a few times but just can't get adjusted to them. Went back to the full cork grip (falcon & loomis).
