Rough River help?

I am headed down to Rough this weekend just wondering if anyone has been out and doesnt mind sharing any advice. If so send me a PM any detail no matter how small will help. Anyone that gives me some help I will give a full report the day I get back, and help when ever they need it. Thanks in advance

I'm catching my fish on jigs on long banks with chunk rock. I have been throwing a buzz bait and sammy first things in the morning and have not had any luck at all. I've had no fish shallow, catching mine in about 12 ft of water working a jig pretty fast.

I just moved to Leitchfield and I know nothing about this lake, I've been trying to get out as much as possible lately to learn a little.

You're not going to get much info on Rough since the USA Bassin Regional is this weekend.

im not fishin the usa bassin regional so ill give u some info. fish are a third of the waY BACK in the creeks way off the banks in about 12-15 ft of water. they are not realy related to nothing but isolated wood and shad. when u catch one stay put and beat it to death with a shaky head or a texas rig. u can fish this pattern all over the lake. but i would much rather fish south fork. if keepers are hard to come by fish small main lake pockets all the way back with shakey heads. (green pumpkin) every thing. hows that for some info?

Thanks for your help, fished the tourney saturday found a nice cove up south fork and stayed in it all day caught tons of fish but barely managed to catch my limit. Had 5 that went almost 10 pounds not great but got my 15th and qualified. caught the bigger fish about 12ft on a football jighead with a sweet beaver and also on the practice day it was blue bird skys caught all the fish twitching a fluke about 3ft down. Why not break that stupid trend and share some info? This is why a lot of people despise bass tourneys. The day I can't enjoy myself and share my experiences with a fellow angler, is the day I give it up.

I can help you with the crappie, but the bass on rough have always been a problem for me.
