The closest ramp to the dam/Falls is the New Albany ramp underneathe the I-64 bridge. Ramp is almost completely out of the water, but I still see boats launching. Greenwood is deeper. Middle Creek on IN side (4 mi downstream) should also be deeper. Make sure to stay in the middle of the ramp...rest is tore up pretty bad.
Ok got to fishing with chicken livers and posted up on the point right before the locks. Set up anchor and threw out my lines. Almost immediately began to get bit. However, it kept stripping my liver off. Having dealt with this before I have heard of using panty hose to keep the little fish from picking at it. So I wrapped it up and still got picked. No big tugs just little taps. Then nothing check the bait and it's gone. Any suggestions?
