So far both mannings have lost, brees has a loss, rodgers one also. 3 games is not a season, but my season is a success. DA BEARS! might not last, but beat the packers, who I hope go all the way.

Brett Favre game three ( they finally won, think the lord for the Detroit Lions LOL). 28-34, not as bad as week one and two. Passer rating of 68.4. Oh yeah, 1 TD and 2 interceptions. So let me make sure my math is correct.......is that 6 INT's in three games? Geez, I haven't seen anyone handle this many turnovers other than the Kid that works at McDonalds by my house (Who I think works on passing drills with the Diva in the off season)!![]()

Gorski, I agree. I am just trying to give Demodan a hard time because of things that were said before the season started.
And I still stand by my statments..Brett is the best QB to ever play the game; holds more records than any QB ever (and maybe ever will)...and it's not becouse he has played the most years...although it might be becouse he has played the most games in a row..(another record I didn't mention on an earlier post). I hear ya Tim T...and I admit...the season is off to a ruff start. But you have to know how the man plays the game; he has allways thrown the ball into tight coverage, and allways will..Brett is known for that..thus the picks will happen (didn't happen much last year). But also some of the greatest throws of "all times" came from his arm. Of course...with his age now...he might not be the best on the field today...but he can still take a team and beat the best...and another Superbowl victory isn't out of the picture yet Tim T. I know this for a fact...when they induct him into the hall of fame in Canton Ohio...they **** sure won't say that he was the most over-rated QB to play the game! They will..however ....say that he was the best to ever play at that position...and it will be a very very very long time before we ever see another Iron Man like him.....some of his records will out live me, you...and our children's children! One if a kind...and it will be hard for me to not shed a tear when he walks off the field for the last time...and he will walk off the field...not carried off!!; and just maybe...holding the "rock" when doing so. There was another QB that was very close to being as good as Brett ....and he died just days ago...George Blanda! Another self made player & athlete that was dedicated to his team..supremely competivness ...but mostly his hard work ethic was just unreal. Coach Davis said that he had never seen a player in his life that worked harder that George Blanda. When I was a kid...I was a huge Raider fan..I had a poster of George working out in the Raider's weight room...there was sweat pooring off his forehead in one steady stream to the ground...I've never forgotten that. George Blanda was the original Brett Favre!
What the should say about him is "he is the ultimate me player, who would run roughshod over his teamates in order to be all about himself!"And I still stand by my statments..Brett is the best QB to ever play the game; holds more records than any QB ever (and maybe ever will)...and it's not becouse he has played the most years...although it might be becouse he has played the most games in a row..(another record I didn't mention on an earlier post). If Payton Manning plays as many games as the attention ***** did, he will break most of those records

Would you like to make a friendly wager on this being said at his induction? A pizza or maybe a 12 pack of beverages? He is not among the top 10 to EVER PLAY THE POSITION IN THE NFL!
Let us not forget about one of the best to ever play the game and never win a super bowl, Dan Marino, he broke a lot of passing records, or what about Terry Bradshaw, Bob Gresie, all were great at QB, oh and not to leave out any cowboy fans, ole Roger Stabuch was reat also, but I do doubt that Bret will go down as the greatest to ever play the game as their are more QB's out there, but you have to admit that Farve has had on heck of a carear and to be playing at his age is a feat in itself, but Billy Kilmer played well up into his 40's also.![]()
Don't count the old man out yet Tim T...still might have a few throws left in that rocket arm of his! They beat GreenBay this weekend....it could be on like donkey cong!!! Im going to laugh like hell when the Viks win their div.!!!
The only thing he will do is give the ball to the other team. 6 TD's but 7 INT.'s Lets not forget the two fumbles he gave away a couple of weeks ago.
Wonder if he is taking any more pics and text messaging them? LOL He should have stayed on his farm in Mississippi.
How many field goals has Brett Favre kicked? If I'm not mistaken, that would be 0. George Blanda kicked 335 field goals and 943 extra points. One of those was a 52-yard game-winning field goal against Cleveland when he was 43. He was 48 when he retired! There will never be another one like him. But to be fair, you really can't compare the two, because the game was so much different back then. But one thing he did say was, "The one record I was happy to get rid of was the one for the most interceptions, when Brett Favre got that one.’’
'nuff said
Yes, he looked like the Brett Favre of old yesterday. By that I mean he kept throwing the ball to the Green Bay players.
Three more INT's, wonder what the season record is? He might break it by week 10!
When he through that INT for a TD late in the game, they mentioned he holds that record, too. Hey, I respect the guy, because at one time he WAS one of the best ever to play the game. He just isn't any more.
