crappie fishing rough river tomarrow

Any tips on how to fish rough river crappie in such a low pressure?
I'm taking a friend down there for his first crappie fishing and i would like for him to catch some fish..

How is the hybrid striper biting?

Fished Rough this past Saturday and Sunday, we had 20 keepers on minnows 12' to 14' in 17 to 20 feet of water on Saturday and only 4 keepers same spot on Sunday in Tules. Good luck and let me know how you do please.

Man it is going to be cold out there this morning I wanted to wait until thursday to go but ricky wants to go today sooooo... But hay if nothing else i will ride around and ask others about fishing in this kind of weather Thanks for the reply..

crappie fishing was bad todaywe caught 2 dinks using minnows
I talked to a couple people who was using jegs and they didnt catch anything either.. One guy said the lake was trying to turn over..
With that major low pressure that just moved trough I didnt think it would be worth the time but it was on some one elses dime so iwent...

not much good too you now,caught probably 60-80 fri in about 5 hours,was kinda pre fishin for the usa and happend to pick up a spinning rod with a grub on it,had 14 good keepers,alot of them were 6-7" fish.most were less than 8ft.clifty to everleigh.
had 16 and 2 big bluegill today at nolin,only had maybe 6 throw backs.if i saw fish on the finder i beat em to death,not alot of bites period,dad had a few on minnows.had some nice bass too.
