my brother in law is going on a canoe trip this weekend and asked me what he should expect to catch and what baits to use. other than bass, what other fish can he target and what type bait should he take along. i think he said they would be in hart county. thanks

I fish some in Green River near Green County. It has lots of smallmouth. Also small spinner baits and road runners will catch redeye. I like Zoom white 6" lizards and red 6" lizards on #2/0 worm hooks. Cast to every log and every eddy.

If he fishes the river below the Dam he better be preoared to boat a muskie or two...as they are abundant there.
