At the risk of sounding like I have a death fixation, one of my other most liked verses is:
Cowards die many times before their deaths;
the valient never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard,
it seems to me most strange that men should fear;
seeing that death, a necessary end,
will come when it will come.
Julius Caesar
Bug, fortunately I only take two meds and neither of them have anything to do with my thinking.
I don't see why you would dispute the obvious: WE ARE BORN TO DIE!! That doesn't mean we cannot enjoy the trip, I most certainly have and still am.

For the record...this will be my last comment on this thread, simply because it's to deep for me.
Well!! If that's the way you want to be, OK,
Terminal = When a disease or sickness cannot be cured and it is believed that it will cause death. (The Medical Dictionary)
Illness = Unhealthy condition; poor health; indisposition; sickness. (The Dictionary)
Birth is not a disease, unhealthy condition, or sickness that is incurable.
When I said that Shakespeare was my old nemesis, I did not say that I hated his works although some may have gotten that impression. What I said was that he should have been dropped into the witches cauldron. I began studying his works my senior year in high school and on into college in my Literature classes. Part of the requirements were that we memorize certain portions of each play, giving the act, scene, and lines, and the name of the character. We weren't permitted to 'quote' each line in a dead monotone voice but required to speak in character. It was interesting, fun, and sometimes embarassing when we watched our performance played back on the TV. lol
This is my last comment on this thread.

Bug, you wrote: Birth is not a disease, unhealthy condition, or sickness that is incurable.
And I whole heartedly disagree, birth and the life that follows are all of those things, especially the part about being incurable. Its all a matter of interpritation.
