Any news on Barren

I just joined the site a couple of days ago. I have a club tourney on barren this saturday and was wanting to know if anybody has had any luck. I heard they had a turnover. Any info would be greatly appriciated. I fished Cumberland today and had two short fish on jigs (1 lm and 1 kentuck) from about 8 till 2. too much wind to sit still and fish. both were up fishing creek. lot of shad activity up near pulaski park. a lot of big blow ups but scattered and far a part.

Seems from other posts and what i saw on Monday... The lake turned over about a week or more ago, and has cleared up some. Water up in teh creeks was 6inches visibility, and upwards of 2 foot visibility down by the dam. 67 degree water. I had a hard time locating fish with either a lure or teh depth finder. I did notice the few times i saw fish they were TIGHT on structure. I managed a nice fat Spot on a 5.5" smithwick rogue jerk bait. Shad are all shallow, but no bass seem to have followed yet...

They should start drawing teh lake down starting tomorrow... so keep that in mind as you plan your attack...
