I figure it is mainly flat farming country with nothing to see. But BC coast is nice isnt it.

I want to see the 3 big Great Lakes some day. Great for a holiday and fishing. I mean I have been to Lake Ontario and Erie cuz they are closer but the 3 big ones are beautiful I hear. Great cottage country. So you and your Mrs just come on up here and enjoy the scenery and fish that you can keep and throw on the grill.
Gills, you will be surprised if you see all 5 of The Great Lakes (Huron, Michigan, Superior, Ontario, and Erie). They hold 21-22% of the world's surface fresh water and have a total surface of 80,545 square miles. Most of the blizzards in that area come off of Lake Michigan. My great-grandmother lived in Alberta and is buried there. My husband and I want to take the 1,200 mile train ride across Canada; we have seen part of it but I hear that it is absolutely beautiful from one end to the other. That's on our "bucket list" of things to do before we die.
