Cumberland Smallies???

I can generally find the smallies in the winter but have absolutely no clue of how to catch them this time of year on Cumberland. I've had a little bit of luck on Dale lately but I think that may just be dumb luck because of the massive amount of brownfish in that lake. I know there is a good population of smallies in Cumberland too but haven't figured out how to get them to cooperate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
