Right with you on that Bluegrasser. Only place you can sight in for free anywhere near Louisville is at Clark Memorial Forest in IN and that is a fair drive. Can't wait. This is really going to be a big success so close to Louisville and Fort Knox.

The first trou I ever caught on a fly rod was from Otter Creek. I used to work 10 minutes from it and would fish it severl times a week. I will now let some in a a little secret. While all of you guys are there fishing for those stocked trout. I will be there targeting the numerous smallmouth that live there.![]()
Agreed.
Fish that I have caught at OC, with the fly rod: Smallmouth, largemouth, kentucky (spotted) bass, warmouth, all manner of panfish, rainbow trout, brown trout, sauger, catfish, carp, drum, chubs, sculpins !!
Col., if you live in Louisville area, there is a KFW rifle range at Taylorsville Lake. It's on Briar Ridge Rd. It's usually quiet there, not many shooters at all.
Thanks Hipboots, I did not know that.
I can't wait, I live 10 minutes away!
