Rap is JUNK......pure and simple. Nice beat sometime, but someone SCREAMING into a mike rhyming filth is NOT music.

I love it, being in education I have seen a lot of crap like this. My biggest motivation to get my Ph.D. in education is to write a half-arsed book and retire. Honestly, with the right data backing it up (I didn't say good data, I just said the right) some schools will buy into it. I know I can come up with something much better than a good deal of the garbage I have read, and make enough to live comfortably on. You all really should go to an education conference and look through some of the booths there - it is good entertainment - but this one needs some sort of prize.

My son is a teacher, and on Sundays he also has religious classes.One time he asked some of his class to recite some ofr the words to their favorite rap tunes. He got a lot of responses. The asked them t6o recite the apostles creed, very few3 knew all of it. Last year I had my grand daughter in my truck because her vechicle broke down, As we headed to our destination, I lit up a cigarette, she objected, so I put it out, then she turns on my radio,[she asked] and found some of that crap to listen to. This time I didn't rolly window down after I lit up.

Hip Hop IS NOT MUSIC, IT NEVER HAS BEEN, NOR WILL IT EVER BE. Running your mouth at Warp speed spitting Vile garbage is music NOT. They aren't even talented enough to make up their own back beat, it is stolen, borrowed or bought from another band or musician whom actually had talent. It also promotes HATE and Violence, and makes it sound cool to a young person, to go drink 40's and pop a cap in sombody's arse.
