I know this is the place to get help for the float n' fly since there are some experts on here that do it. I wanna try it for the first time this year and need some help getting started. I would just like some general info what tackle I need, line size and type, and some help picking out some good flies. Any info is much appreciated. I think my local lake would be good for the float n' fly. Can't wait to hear your expert opinions.

Really depends on what you're after and what kind of flies you want to use. When I go out I take a 6wt for smaller flies or smaller poppers and a couple 8 wts at least.. 1 with floating line and one with sinking line.
For floating you need quite a bit of power since you aren't standing and you need to get fish in quicker.
