Blanked on Rough yesterday

Rough was ROUGH on me yesterday. I started off fishing for crappie and only had one hit. Around 10am I switched to bass fishing, and had one NICE bass break me off in some brush on a jig/pig, and two bass spit the hook on a lizard. It was a great day to be on the water, but man was the fishing lousy.

Nolin wasn't any better. Had a bunch of small fish hit the buzzbait around docks, caught two dinks. The water at Nolin is ultra clear. Just below 70 degrees. Should be starting to get into a fall pattern soon hopefully.

rough is turning over hard and fast the water was real nasty and what fish we did catch stunk ..
You know I was driving down the road yesterday and seen alot of birds lined up on the wire ( when the birds are lined up one the wire the fishing is bad) and i was thinking to myself I wounder if there is anything to that ? I guess there is

I just got back from rough about 6:00 PM today and we slayed there a$$ but good.. We caught over 40 crappie and 20 bass 8 keepers ( we returned them ) The guy that was fishing with me wanted to keep all the keeper crapie but i would not let him I told him he could only keep the ones 12" and over so he got to keep 5 I let all mine mine go back.
Man there was alot of boaters out today..
