Thanks for sharing this story with us Road Toad. I was in Ottawa working with the Salvation Army who are also set to help with diaster relief so to speak. We also prepared to take in some passengers until it was decided that no planes should land in Ottawa. We were preparing to feed and shelter as many as we could. It would have been an honour to help any Americans that day due to Sept 11th. We were shocked by the terrorist attacks to our sister country to the south. It angered and saddened us which is why so many of our firemen and paramedics and emergency response people volunteered and headed to NYC for the job of cleaning up ground zero and finding people under all that rubble. It was a horrible day in history.
