For me that isn,t going to be a major problem, there will still be regukar gasoline for years. But it isn,t OBwankanobe pushing it. Its our PAID congresmen, who have open pockets to the ethanol industry.ADM makes millions off of it, and its subsidized by uncle sugar{us].Ever think of why the price of beef and poultry has gone up so much? Were putting the feed into gas tanks. This is plain nonsense, if the true cist of ethanol fuel, with out government help hit the sreets, very few would buy it.

But boats are an indulgence that has no place in the Communist State this administration has in mind. You dont need to worry about how this affects your outboard because you are evil for owning a boat to begin with you capitalist pig...

This is a problem in aviation right now as well... Companies want to stop producing Avgas whish is 100 octane Leaded fuel. And at present it costs twice what car gas does so some people are doing paperwork that legally allows them to run automotive fuel (93 octane unleaded) in their aircraft. This is fine for the engine in the case of low compression naturally aspirated aircraft like Cessna 172's... but the bigger planes cannot run less because of detonation...

I know a guy who runs "MoGas" (aviation name for car gas) in his Cessna 150... The ethanol in the gasoline has eaten every single seal in teh fuel system. The gas caps leak, leaving big brown streaks on teh wings. The fuel vent leaks, allowing a constant drip of fuel from the wing. And the carburetor has issues every year at teh annual inspection. And water in the system is already an issue for aircraft, having ethanol in the picture isnt helping much.

This is why someone needs to develop a turbo-diesel outboard... run it on bio-fuel, or kerosene, or jet fuel, or whatever else you can find...

I think i done said all that they did in another post , Lets see injectors gas lines seals fuel pump : Yep that covers some of it I just forgot about how it eats up aluminium and that white crust never goes away and there nothing I have found that will remove it or stop it, Once it gets in the primary feeds of a carb its all over the carb is junk. Unburnt fuel will also eat up the cylinder wall if left un burnt..

Now for the good stuff we need to make the change from oil to alcahol we cant keep going like this.. Here in brandenburg they are starting on a new highway going to the river HWY313 the plan is to put in a big disterly to make alcahol fuel its on the way there is no dought but man they should of been making this switch in the 70's.. What is going to happen is when the demacrats are out and the Rep. are back in all the alcahol change over will stop the saidest part is it is going to be the same company running the alcahol as is the gas hide and watch what i tell you. alcahol fuel will be $5.oo a gallon or more because we can not make enough it to supply our demands so it will have to be shiped from over seas I see alot of other country's starving to deth over this repeat after me ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT.
Last thoughts folks teach a kid to hunt and fish it may the only way his family will eat..
