Fished a catfish tourney

Fished with a friend in a catfish tourney out at tanner's creek... first tourney fun experience... sad to say the cats weren't biting today.... caught 2 fish totaled 13 lbs. Winner was 38 lbs on 4 fish. 4 fish max. big fish weighed in at 22 lbs i think.

I remember my first one several years ago and now I travel miles and miles around the mid-west competing when I can. It's addicting for sure. Lots of tournies in that general area almost every weekend through-out the summer. Looks like you already know about SWOCC and if you want to get into it more check out Whiskey City, Catfish Country, Ohio Valley River Cats, and the Kentuckiana clubs. They try and plan events around each other so there's always something going on.
