I like the "must be used on 2006 or newer vehicles"...

Basically a subdues version of cash fo clunkers... your old car *****, go buy a new one or you wont be able to buy gas for it in 5 years and this is your warning. Which cracks me up... its just like a Prius... its all about image, greenies are uneducated about what is REALLY good for teh planet, they just want be associated with whatever "appears" to be good for teh planet...

E15: Ethanol has a higher carbon footprint than gasoline of the same quantity thanks to its production procees. It only releases less emissions from the vehicle itself, but at the cost of reduced fuel mileage, and damage to teh engine. This in turn causes people to buy new stuff, throwing teh old stuff away, which adds to lanfill waste, and adds to the carbon footpring caused by all these "american" cars being made in mexico thanks to everything GeoFisher said earlier...

Prius: Thanks to being made in countries all over the world before assembly in JAPAN and using coal oil burning ships to move em, and the total toxic mess teh batteries become in teh event the car is disposed of... the Prius is teh LEAST eco friendly car in exixtance... but the greenies wont hear it... they look to good acting like they actually care...

Its all an illusion...

If you really cared about the environment and your wallet... buy a used diesel.. truck or car... and make biodiesel.. which can be made from almost anything... so you can focus on non food supply crops or animal fat slavaged from meat processing for production. It is using unwanted supplies, has a low production carbon footprint, burns clean, smells good depending on what you use for fuel... diesel engines last FOREVER (this elps financially and environmentally), and older diesel Jettas have been known to get over 50mpg... same a s a Prius "claims" to get but in reality about 8-10mpg better than a Prius "actually" gets....
