I love to fish slow and with a CR as Dave does, but others fish fast and furious and are successful as well. Just saying, many of our guides are good and can teach you a lot. I personally also like Randy K and Keith Brown.
There are a number of good guides down here...but I am wondering, why do you think I only throw C-rigs? I guess I ought to take out all those crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, topwaters and whatever else out of my boat...LOL
