The good thing about that, is the hooks slide right out if you compress the fibers. All of my rods are at least 7', and I use the 6.5' stik jacket, it covers it up past the last eye on the rod. If you have a longer rod - 7.5' the 7' stik jacket is a good match.I have stik jacket too and they make life a hell lot easier. I would recommend going with the guy on BBC who can customize the length. The closer the open end is to the reel the more your trebble hooks get snagged in them. 5' to 5'6" should be about the perfect length.
