Yes ... http://fw.ky.gov/gifs/cedarlak.gif This map shows the lake outline ... ramps & the creek "bank access" area are shown. You can access the bank around the dam, and around the ramp closest to the dam ... plus there's a large bank access area just down from the dam ramp area. When you turn right off of the new US150 (that goes across the dam) .... you come to a T turn : right turn takes you to the ramp at the dam .... left turn takes you to the larger bank access area. But, the turn off to that area is only 50-75ft from the T ... it's a gravel/dirt road that drops over the hill, towards the lake, & there should be a small sign there.
You can access bank areas around the other ramps, but it is limited ... unless you don't mind hiking thru the weeds/trees.
If I were only going to be there for a couple of hours .... I'd stay around the dam ramp area, and the bank access area just down from it. In fact, that's exactly what I normally do.
