I wonder why the discharge water is colored brown? It should be cleaner than the river. Sounds like they are not treating the water as they are suppose to. No wonder the dinking water taste so bad from the Ohio River.
If every town upstream failes to treat their discharges like Evansville it's no wonder the River is so polluted and full of sediment.
Fish don't like pure water, it has no fertility. The best fishing waters in the country have 2-4 foot of clarity, due to the bio-plankton fertility. Of course mud don't work either, but Kentucky Lake on a normal pool level is as perfect as it gets. Big bass, big crappie, big blue gill, big redear, big gar, big drum, big white bass, and lots of em.

I know in Evansville I've seen turds floating. Don't want to know about Louisville!
