Cumberland Smallmouth

Took 15 to win SC this Sunday. Weights dropped significantly though. 9 was second. Wind made it rough.

15 was a lot more than I thought would have taken it. I'm guessing that they had a couple good largemouth and the rest were tucks.

KR do you know who took it? What got big fish? I saw a largemouth headed to the scale that would have pushed 3

My buddy & I caught 9 fish Saturday. 7 small Spots & 1 short Smallmouth & I had one Smallmouth that went 18.25 inches & fat as mud. 3 jig fish & the rest came on a shakey head worm. Main lake. Tried Fishing Creek & never done any good at all.

The guys that one had 2 smallmouth and 4 ky's ,15 lbs

was this a tourny? 6 fish limits?

Yes the SC has a 6 fish limit. Which IMHO is fine if its 6 fish to a boat. Now if it was set up with an angler and co-angler, 12 fish in a livewell is a little crowded. Heck 10 fish in a livewell is crowded. I had another update on the tourny. All of the fish were caught in the lower portion of the lake. The same people who won the SC, fished a tourny on sat and fished the upper portion of the lake and wieghed in only 4lbs. Needless to say they went the other way on Sunday and I went up the lake toward Fishing Creek and with the wind we got our butts handed to us. Oh well such is fishing. You make a game plan and it could pay off and it could bite you in the butt.
