"The Shave"

There is a girl on my sons soccer team, I will call her Mary (name has been changed). Mary was being babysat by her Aunt and they went to a restaurant to use the ladies room. There Mary must have seen more than she bargained for because she told her Aunt that she needed to "Shave her Pee Patch like Mommy". "Mommy says you have to give it the proper attention before it gets out of control". Mary is 5 years old, 5 years old, 5 years old, did I fail to mention 5 YEARS OLD. Way too much information in the workings of the privates of a woman. Let her be a kid for a while. They will be grown up soon enough

Agreed that's not in line with our views of raising a child either. Our daughter had another little girl tell her something that was sexually inapropriate for any child to hear or say and this was in the third grade. When we heard about it a call was made to the school and meetings were set up between the child in question, her parents and the school administration. They assured us this wouldn't happen again and it didn't because they withdrew their child and we haven't heard from them again.

Mixed feelings in the end because since we felt it was the tip of the iceberg of problems with that child and they left maybe something good came out of it......sad part is that a child can know those words and techniques.

What's the problem, mommy wasn't telling a lie............most likely "Mary" wasn't either! A pretty astute observation from a 5 year old if you ask me.

If they see it, the seed is planted and you never know when it will sprout out of the kids mouth. Could be anywhere.

I've heard that story several times. It usually involves the dad's new girlfriend/wife and the mother of the child.
