It has just been confirmed that U of L freshman Gorgui Dieng has been ruled eligible by the NCAA. U of L sports information director confirmed it via twitter moments ago.

everyone should know that being ruled eligible by the ncaa doesnt mean much. let him get cleared a few more times before celebrating. sorry, i thought this was another UK player getting cleared, start celebrating now, everything is good.

Well, he was originally ruled inelligible, but that was overturned today. He speaks five languages and made a 31 on his A.C.T.

Sorry Skeeter, I didn't take it that way and I agree with you. Just was stating for some that didn't know that he actually won an appeal from the NCAA which is a rare thing from what I have seen.

I'm surprised it took this long, the dang kid is smarter than alot of professors at some schools.
