Small ponds/lakes are on FIRE!!!!

I have been wearing out the bass in the past 3 days at places that vary from 1/2 acre to 30 acres in size. The bass have been VERY shallow and hitting just about anything that moves.

Last night was one of the best trips. I had 1 1/2 hours to fish, and managed over 30 bass (quit counting at 30) and two NICE crappie out of a lake that I was told had no crappie in it.

Nothing huge was caught, but I did manage a handful of 2 pounders in the past 3 days. Right now is the time to fish or take a kid fishing and show them a HECK of a good time.

Gotta love pulling fish outta places that they "aren't" in. I pulled a smallie out of sympson last week and they aren't supposed to be there either.

I have found out the same thing 90 percent are spotted bass, have had a lot of fun never it never gets boaring taking fish off of a hook even if they are small. I found mine in about 3 to five feet.

Yes sir! Small ponds and lakes are definitely on fire right now! Took my 7 yr old daughter out to one the other day, and she couldn't keep them off her hook, lol.....the smiles were priceless!
