    CR and low flow

Been in the Mts. last 10 days hiking, climbing, and busting some whitewater. Took a break from fishing. Knew the cumberland river would be a stream when i got back. Can't find a post on the low water anywhere? Anyone been hitting the river?

    Re: CR and low flow

Fished it last Sunday. Had a real hard time getting the boat in and floating it. Fished from the Ramp to the cable with the basket on it, nothing. I fished with Power bait, live minnows, X-Rap and Shad Raps.. I did talked to one guy who made it all the way up to the dam in a boat and he said he had been catching Walleye on minnows. I dont know how he got a boat up that close, but he did. Water was running over the wall in front of the dam. I only seen one or 2 fish come to the top. Hope this helps.

Yeah figured the dam would be dead no current no fish in my opinion. Waters low ,but I've seen it lower. Debating on wether or not to head down. My rig can go in the low flow. Just current is in far and few spots rigth now. And you can bet it's full of people. Lot's of people been waiting for this low water for a long time.
