1. Crankbaits and jerkbaits

2. Absolutely. Do not fish for muskies without a leader. Wire or flouro, it's personal preference.

3. Timber, flats, channel breaks.... Anywhere there are concentrations of shad.

4. More natural (shad, minnow) patterns for clearer water, brighter (firetiger, etc) in dirtier water.
