Pretty cool video. I was wondering why he didn't net the fish himself? Oh well I guess the excitement makes you forget sometimes.... Sure looked like fun!
That's been the scene for most of this month...fun stuff! If they would have been throwing bucktails instead of spooks, they would have never made a cast and gotten it back to the boat without a hook up! lolWe've been killing them on the bucks!

How long do the Stripes do this in the morning? I have only fished for them at night in the spring.
For us, the magic time seems to be 7am...then they will last usually 1 1/2-2 hrs...sometimes longer depending on cloud cover, etc. It can be hit and miss though....some mornings only a few jumps...others, all over the place. Fun stuff either way!

Right up until 5 minutes before I get there![]()
That's why I don't like throwin spooks. Bite is hit or miss and 99% of the time it's always smaller "schoolies" that hit 'em. Try a smack tackle no.4 or a badonkadonk or a dollflie. You'll pick up better fish! Good luck, FISH ON!
