Dad was taken to the hospital in an ambulance yesterday because of pain. He couldnt move, couldnt even get pants on him he woud scream when his leg was moved. They gave him 3 shots of Delauded ( spelled wrong) and 1 morphine in the first hour there, the nurse said its the most they could give without killing him and he was still yelling. This is a major setback because he was scheduled to have the hip put back in next friday and he was doing great, we went to T-ville fishing 2 weeks ago, walking around on crutches, no pain at all. ER Doc suspects MSRA is back and you can feel heat coming from his leg even with gloves on we will know more today when his surgeon shows up. Im really bummed out by this and just remember him when you say the words to the man upstairs. Dale

Well, he is in surgery right now, they are going to remove the spacer, scrape out the infection, put a new spacer in, 6 more weeks of trips to louisville for anitbiotics. He is in good spirits but given the amount of meds in him he should be!!! He was even asking about fishin Peabody again next spring and wondering when I was going to get him some manure for his garden. Thanks for the prayers, he is one tough old coot thats for sure!!!
