    You can get on bassboatcentral and find lucky craft pointers new for $10 and less for slightly used....just like with anything make sure you do some investigating into what size you want.....they make several different sizes of pointers

    Before the lucky crafts if you were in a bait shop at Bull Shoals you could buy Smithwick rogues with solder wrapped around the treble hooks shank and they were labeled for different water temperatures. You can do this at home in a sink with a temperature gauge and some real fine solder.

    Any hollow bodied bait will be extremely sensitive to slight changes. I've been able to get a perfect suspender in 55 deg water with one lure and then do the next one the exact same way and it would either float or sink. You can use store bought suspenders but experiment on the water to get the lure you have to work in the conditions you have.

    I agree 100%

    As I said in my first post. Its all dependent on water temp. This week your bait with suspend perfect and a month from now with the water is 10 degrees coolers the bait with float because colder water has more density to it that warmer water.
