Heading to Lake Kissimmee in FL Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. wondering if anyone had a fishing report? I had heard that topwater was on for the morning then it was a flipping bite for the rest of the day...any thoughts?

Also, I just got back from Cherokee Lake in TN and wanted to give a report. I fished Sat and Sun caught around 30 or so. 5 LM 5 KY's and about 20 some smallmouth. There were hardly any fish caught shallow. Most of my fish came on main lake points and channel banks. every fish was caught on a 1/4 D & L jig in cumberland craw. Saw large schools of shad on the fish finder but they were all deep. Had two bites sunday morning on a Pop-R both were really nice smallmouth, 1 was around 4 pounds the other was maybe 3 or so. I didn't land either one they both spit the hooks but were by far the best fish I had hooked all weekend. Water temp was 64-67. The largemouth bite was scarce and the ones that I did catch were skinny and look liked they hadn't started the fall feed. But the smallmouth were very active. Most of the smallies were 14-17" a few keepers mixed in. Cherokee should be getting better and better with each passing day, just hit the main points and throw that jig. the shallow water bite should pick up soon.
