Interesting thread. I've thought about the cwp, and opted not to. Its a matter of record, why should anyone know that I have a registered firearm? My guns are legal because I passed the FBI questionaire, I can carry it openly in Ky,warning shots back a few years agoand sometimes I do. I fired several warning shots a few yrs back at the Lillydale ramp, the guys messing with my truck took off. A few minutes later a jamestown squad car appeared.They had a report of shots fired. I told what I did, and the cop told me to get my ass out of there quick.Its scary to see an armed cop come to you, with gun drawn. So now I will carry sometimes in a visible holster in some ramps in Ky. But in the car, a can or two of wasp spray. Who knows a day may come when a knock on the door comes and they will ask for my registered weapon. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but in new orleansw when martial law was declared, they knew where to look.
