Launched at Winfrey's ran or should I say putted to rainbow run. Chose downstream to avoid the crowd. Paid off just my friend and I we saw two boats all day. Caught trout at all stops where we'd wade and landed a good slot brown may have broke 20" didn't have any thing to measure with while standing in middle of rainbow run. You could probably heard my freinds shouts of joy for miles as he landed that fish. He had a horseshoe up his a** tody. I had to break down and dig out the ultra lite to avoid the skunk and what a blast. Water 50degrees this am up to 56 by afternoon. Spinners and cranks worked em slow as possible. Hatch of some sort going on big time. lots of bugs on water, but not a lot of risers busting em. Caught 22 and one walleye on spinners and cranks. Should of had about 40 but got a lot of short strikes. Broke down and took some crawlers just in case of desperation, but didn't wet a one of em. Think the up and down water temps. may be messing with them the last couple days.
Sounded like a good trip...thanks for the report.
