well it was 24 degrees when i went this weekend and my hands did not get cold at all, they have the little grippy things all over the palms and fingers. they got a little wet but did not make my hands cold. Keep in mind i took one off to lip the fish after netting it and i also had ice in all my rod eyes. hope this helps
