    Where to stay on Dale

I am headed down the day after Thanksgiving. I would like to find a place on the water. I don't need much just clean, hot shower and a bed. Thanks Ryan.

Best marina on the water that has always and will always cater to the fishermen plus will bend over backwards to help you if you have any problems is Horse Creek. Thomas and the boys have always helped out from giving a jump start to loaning out a battery and other stuff plus you get a free slip for your boat if you want.

HORSE CREEK, I was on my first fnf trip ever and my first time on dale in 20 years. Map showed many gas pumps on lake so running late I put in and fished with vrey little gas left. And you can guess what happend. None of the pumps were open when we decide to get fuel. We wondered into horse creek and trolled up to marina. They had a emergancy number on the door. We called and told them our problem and to my surprise the man said it would take him a hour to drive to us. A hour later he comes down the hill and has a five gallon jug in the back of his truck. Saved our butts. Was 10 degrees and we had no cell service. glad to see that pay phone and number. If you do go down thank them again for me. I hope I will be thanking them this weekend if work will let me.

The late GREAT Billy Westmoreland was once part owner in Horse Creek Marina and from what I have been told you won't find a much better man that ever walked the hallowed grounds of Dale Hollow Laker other than Billy. He loved the lake, loved his Smallmouth Bass and wanted to promote the lake to as many people as possible. His values certainly have been carried on by Thomas and the boys.
