Good luck man! I had a friend that did something similar a few years ago. He's still at it and loving it. Spends his summers in the high mountains and winters in the New Mexico low country. If he doesn't like where he's at he just pulls stakes and drives his house somewhere else.

Shouldn't have any trouble finding a burley woman up there to keep you warm. From what I've seen there is a staggering population of that type! Let us know where you'll be guiding at. I usually fish out of Grand Marais but may make it to Ely one of these days.
