This was the best case of better to be fishin and not catching than anything else off the water. Nolin Lake though busy, was beautiful. Great weather to be on the water. The water Temps were 54 in the morning and 59 by evening. I went Tues through Fri afternoon. Fish were hard to catch. One here, one there. All around the Wendal the One Pounder size. 18 total over three days. Lake didn't smell, clear to murky in places around Wax and Dog Creek areas. I went for the Buzz bite but it was non existent. Most fish came on the trusty Carolina Rig with watermelon candy lizard. Lake was down and winter navigation was in full effect. Be careful running when out and follow the channels with long sweeping turns.
